AAaarghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DON'T BELIEVE IT!

The new set-up for my Palm T|X has wiped my entire appointments calendar, for some reason.

Luckily I still have the old one at home and can backup from that, missing only changes made in the last week. But it is DEEPLY aggravating.

[Edited to add: Even more luckily, there was a backup at work, so all is now restored. But [info]autopope is right; I need belt and braces.]

Repeat after me: SD card, backup software, incremental backup after every significant update. Would you believe you're the second person on my friends list to have had their palm eat a chunk of their life today?

It's a big time-saver.

(1Gb SD cards are down to around thirty quid via eBay -- but don't buy on the high street, you'll be soaked for the thick end of EUR 100 or more. For backup software I'd recommend Teal Backup from Tealsoft.)

Oddly enough, that was about the only appointment that did survive the cull. You obviously have mystical powers, at least better than the two ambassadors I am supposed to meet tomorrow...
